Walmart has publicly supported gun reform legislation and requested that customers not open carry firearms in stores. They have ended the sale of assault-style weapons and raised the minimum age requirement for firearm sales to 21. In 2019, after significant pressure from our coalition, they ended the sale of handguns and stopped selling ammunition that could be used in high-capacity magazines.
